AUTRICE
FRANCESCO MEUCCI Born in Florence in 1969, has been living in Naples for the past twenty-five years. He is a professional classical musician, specialising in early music performed on period instruments. He has given thousands of concerts in over thirty countries, performing in some of the world’s most prestigious venues: from the Concertgebouw in Amsterdam to Carnegie Hall in New York, from London’s Barbican Centre to the Musikverein in Vienna. He has recorded for major labels such as Deutsche Grammophon, Sony, Virgin, and Decca, collaborating with internationally renowned conductors including Zubin Mehta, Riccardo Muti, Daniel Harding, Myung-Whun Chung, and Frans Brüggen. With Iod Edizioni he has published two novels: La via della musica and its English version _e Musical Path. His most recent work is La Napoli del futuro.
